onOne Software Perfect Photo Suite

  • Choose from a library of more than 1,000 film edges, borders, textures and backgrounds to put the finishing touches on an image.
  • There are tons of presets, and a search tool lets you type in key words for finding the style you’re looking for.
  • You can stack multiple effects together and edit them in separate layers to create a custom look. You also can control opacity, color, blur and other elements.

  • An image is automatically broken down into segments and analyzed, which makes it easier to create high-quality masks on complex backgrounds and with difficult subjects like hair. The program automatically starts removing the original background for the new one.
  • Simply brush over the general areas of the background you want removed, and the program creates an initial mask that can be refined with touch-up tools. Perfect Mask does this by analyzing the selections you make, based on the colors in each stroke. When it finds a solid background, it’s automatically removed. To get rid of backgrounds in tighter areas, switch to the Refine Brush.
  • A new library of skies, sunsets, walls and muslin backgrounds is available.

  • Using patented, fractal-based interpolation algorithms, the Perfect Resize program can enlarge images to more than 1,000% of their original size without losing sharpness or detail.
  • Controls for adjusting the size, texture and sharpness, and adding film grain allow you to fine-tune the results. With more than 60 built-in document-sized presets, you can quickly crop and resize your image in one step.
  • Tiling and gallery-wrap options also are available. The Tiling function divides an enlarged image into smaller pieces for printing on a standard-sized printer. The Gallery Wrap feature creates extended margins so that detail isn’t lost around the edges.

  • The effects library sits at the bottom of the screen, and hovering over an effect shows you a preview of how your image will look. With live previews, you can now see how each effect looks on your image in real time. This kind of functionality saves time because you no longer have to apply the effect to see if you like it. Whenever you add an effect, the library refreshes and gives the most up-to-date version.
  • Effects can be stacked in limitless combinations, and you can manually control strength, color, tone, texture and every other aspect of how an effect looks on your image. Once you have the look that you want, you can save it as a preset.
  • On the left-hand side of the screen, the MaskingBrush lets you paint in an effect or prevent an area from being affected, and the MaskingBug controls how that effect is positioned for creating vignettes or graduated looks. Blending options deliver even more control over how effects are combined and applied.
