Photo Challenge #20: Night Lights

This time of year is a wonderland of opportunities to photograph lights at night, with early sunsets extending shooting time for city lights and the abundance of holiday decorations.

For this photo challenge, we want to see you get creative with light sources at night. Defocus car brake lights in traffic, get close to holiday displays or try panning blurs to create abstract art.

Don’t be too literal for this challenge—if the light sources are immediately obvious, you’re too far, too sharp or too still.
