Focusing on a single color in a photograph is an instructive creative exercise as it forces you to seek out vignettes in your environment and to experiment with the elements of composition. It’s also an approach you can use when staging portraits or still life photos for extra graphic impact.
For this Photo Challenge, try to find as many compositions as you can that emphasize a particular hue, enlist a friend for a color-coordinated portrait session or arrange a still life with shades of the same color family. Submit your best results by June 30.
