Photo Challenge #13: Water In Motion

Crashing waves, rushing rivers and cascading waterfalls can all add a dramatic focal point to your landscape compositions. Using long exposure techniques, you can transform the water flow with a soft, ethereal effect that conveys a sense of motion, or with even longer exposures, that renders the water as a fog-like atmospheric element.

For this Photo Challenge, we want to see your creative use of moving water in a photograph. To learn about the basics of using long exposures for water, check out our guide, “Go With The Flow.” Experiment with a range of shutter speeds and submit your most successful exposures by May 31.
