Photo Challenge #11: Catching Action

Today’s digital cameras are capable of incredibly speedy continuous shooting with sophisticated AF subject tracking, so the real challenges of action photography are more creative than technical. Conveying a sense of motion, telling a story and making an eye-pleasing composition that’s elevated above a simple snapshot are the concepts to keep in mind when shooting artful action photographs.
