Photographers using the platform will be thrilled to learn that PhotoPills is now available in a public beta version for Android. After a year of testing, the popular photo-planning tool’s Android app will provide the same features as the iOS version.
Explore and plan your location shoots, get sunrise/sunset/magic hour times, as well as moon risings and settings, visualize your Milky Way shots, and get 3D augmented reality views—it will all be there. PhotoPills’ exposure, depth-of-field and time-lapse features to help you capture the photos you’ve envisioned will, too.
The first public beta (unreleased) app is available on the Google Play Store now for $9.99. The full release is scheduled to be delivered at the end of March 2017.
You can get more details on the PhotoPills Android update page.
