Samsung’s newest NX mirrorless, interchangeable-lens camera is the NX3000, combining a very compact and stylish retro body design with high-tech features. A big-sensor brother to the new NX mini, the NX3000 is also very compact, but features a 20.3-megapixel Samsung APS-C CMOS image sensor. It delivers 3:2-format images measuring 5472×3638 pixels in JPEG or SRW (RAW) format, and can also shoot in 16:9 and 1:1 format. The camera can do 1920×1080, 1280×720, 640×480 and 320×240 MP4 video at 30 fps, with stereo sound via built-in microphone.
Built-in WiFi with NFC provides simple Tag & Go connection. Samsung MobileLink lets you select and transfer multiple images to mobile devices. Group Share lets you send images to up to four devices, a time-saver when sharing images with several friends. Remote Viewfinder Pro lets you control the camera via your smartphone. Photo Beam lets you share the image you’re currently viewing on-camera simply by tapping the camera on any NFC-compatible smartphone.
ISO range is 1000-25,600. Shutter speeds range from 30 to 1?4000 sec., with flash sync up to 1?180 sec. The NX3000 can shoot full-res still images at 5 fps. The supplied B740 lithium-ion battery is good for 370 shots per charge, per CIPA standard. SMART modes set the camera for Beauty Face, Best Face, Landscape, Macro, Action Freeze, Rich Tone, Waterfall, Silhouette, Sunset, Night, Fireworks, Light Trace, Continuous Shot, Kids, Food and Party/Indoor scenarios. Images are saved on MicroSD/SDHC/SDXC media.
Dimensions are 4.6×2.6×1.1 inches and 8.1 ounces (body only). The NX3000 is available in black, brown or white.
