The NX2000 SMART Camera is a tiny (4.7×2.5×1.4-inch, 8-ounce) mirrorless interchangeable-lens unit with a 20.3-megapixel Samsung CMOS APS-C sensor and built-in Wi-Fi for easy sharing of photos. AutoShare sends photos to your mobile phone via Wi-Fi for easy backup and sharing (and can even geotag your photos via the smartphone’s GPS). You can email images and videos or send them to your favorite social network or the cloud, and even use your smartphone as a remote viewfinder. NFC (Near Field Communication) lets you connect the camera to an NFC-compatible-enabled smartphone or tablet just by touching the device with the camera. The NX2000 also features a big, 3.7-inch touch-screen display, which provides easy viewing and touch control for focus and shutter.
The DRIMe IV processing engine complements the Samsung sensor to optimize image quality and camera performance. The NX2000 can shoot at 8 fps, has a top shutter speed of 1⁄4000 seconds, and an ISO range of 100-25,600 (with Auto ISO up to 3200). It can record RAW as well as JPEG files.
The NX2000 can do MP4 video in 1080 full HD at 30p and 720 HD at 60p or 30p, with additional lower-res options. Both still and video files are stored on MicroSD cards (including MicroSDHC and MicroSDXC, with support for UHS-I MicroSD. There’s also 2 GB of internal memory. You can apply a number of special effects to still images and videos.
Twelve lenses are available, with focal lengths from 12mm (12-24mm zoom) to 200mm (18-200mm zoom), providing 35mm-camera-equivalent focal lengths from 18mm to 300mm, with the APS-C sensor’s 1.5x crop factor.

1. The DIRECT LINK button can be programmed to perform a number of sharing tasks.
2. Press the i-Function button on the kit lens, and you can use the ring to set shutter speed, aperture, exposure comp, white balance and ISO.
3. There’s no built-in flash, but the accessory shoe accepts the provided external flash unit.
