I found this perfect stack of beach chairs while walking on beach looking for something to photograph and try out some light painting. I decided to place my small colored led lights behind the beach chairs to light them up and give them color. It was very dark that night, and ended up making 4 exposures each 170 seconds long to create the final image. I stacked them together to get a “longer” exposure time. Even though it was really dark the lights from the hotel behind illuminated the in coming clouds and beach sand over the length of the exposure. No additions after the exposure.
