- Description: Was hiking in wood & came across lots of dragonflies & tried to photograph a couple (they're HARD to catch still long enough!). Finally, this enormous one just landed in front of me & let me take his picture. I probably took 50 over the next 3-4 minutes...all the while he's cocking his head this way...& then that way like he's trying to figure out what the heck I was doing. After I got what I was hoping were some good shots, I backed up & left him sitting there...probably still wondering what that crazy human was up to!
