- Description: New oil rig under construction in the Gulf. An unusually calm and warm summer day 30 miles off the Louisiana coast.
- Brief Directions: Most days in the gulf, there are breezes that keep the water moving. This day was dead calm to the point that the cut between water and sky evaporated. Shot from the upper deck of another rig about 2 miles away.
- Best Season: Summer
