- Brief Directions: Palos Verdes Peninsula is only 30 minutes from Los Angeles airport, yet it offers 10 miles of 100-200 foot cliffs and tide pools. Basically Big Sur with much better weather. I am lucky to live nearby -- check out my website at www.bestnaturephotos.com for more photos.
