Photo Details

- State/Province/Region:
- Country: Guam
- Nearest Area: Guam
- Nearest Town: Santa Rita
- Description: Funny thing on this photo in that we had a power outage in our area. But we could still see some faint light from an adjacent area that still had their power. I decided to take advantage of this lack of light and shoot some night sky photos. So I started out on the little dipper and and was playing hide and seek with the fast moving clouds. I could see the glow in my live view so I took a few shots and was able to capture this scene.
- Brief Directions: Took numerous readings with in camera metering system as well as looking at the live view image on the back of the camera. I zoomed in on the focus point using the manual focus as well as full manual controls until I was satisfied. Then I bracketed my exposures. This exposure was wide open at f3.5, 10mm, 30 sec. at ISO400. Metering was set to "pattern". No flash.
