For people photography, I use and recommend the EF 24-105mm ƒ/4L IS USM zoom, because it’s ideal for portraits and especially environmental portraits, that is, pictures of subjects in their environments. For wildlife, I use and recommend the EF 100-400mm ƒ/4.5-5.6L IS USM zoom and a 1.4x teleconverter. Keep this photo adage in mind: Most people don’t move in or zoom in close enough when they shoot!
