Thousands of these birds visit the area and provide wonderful photographic opportumities with dawn fly-outs and evening fly-ins. The activity of the birds is an amazing site, with the sky often filled with birds.
Brief Directions: From Socorro, NM take the exit marked Bosque del Apache, go through the town of San Antonio,and take a right towards the refuge.
Best Season: Summer
