• Description: Wonderful drive through some of the most beautiful country I have seen. Some old farm houses, church, and other buildings to photograph...but the colors of the leaves are the attraction in the Fall. Both deer and bear can be seen at times. I saw deer but not bear.
• Brief Directions: Best direct travel is to go through Seiverville, Piegon Forge, and then Gattlinburg. Signs will take you to the entrance. There is a loop and restrooms are in short supply so be forewarned.
• Notes: The trip around the area is a slow drive on single traffic dirt roads but well worth the trip. Many good places to stop and take photos. Often you can just take shots from your camera as you slowly travel the trail...when you are making one of many stops along the way. I rate it the premier place for color during the Fall leaf change.
