• Description: My husband is from Nusa Penida Island in Indonesia and when visiting family, we have to drive this road via motorbike. For this, I used a compact Nikon Coolpix digital camera so I could hold on safely to my husband as he drove. The jungle area here is full of monkeys, wild chickens, and plenty of farming. This is truly land that has not been disturbed with polution and over crowdedness unlike Bali Island's Denpasar and Sanur.
• Brief Directions: You take a ferry from Sanur to Nusa Penida. Once you get off the ferry, you can take a taxi or rent a motorbike and drive to the other side of the island. The grade of incline is steep at times but once driving to the top, you can see Bali and Lombok on both sides!
• Notes: Nusa Pendida is close and dear to my heart. It's where my husband's life began and I love it there.
