• Description: While on a business trip to the San Francisco area, our host decided to treat the team to a trip on a nice large party yacht. The yacht transversed the San Francisco Bay. I was out on deck and was looking for something to capture with my camera. I didn't want anything boring and yet I didn't see anything worth shooting. Then the Bay Bridge came into view and a bird was flying under it. Since I'm all about angles, I wanted to capture the contrast of this huge structure as the background to this mere bird flying under it. What I didn't know, until later, that I got an interesting shot of San Francisco in the background. The bridge actually pulls the eye into the picture. The bird simply adds a bit of character to an otherwise boring image.
• Brief Directions: The Bay Bridge winds its way to San Francisco. A study in angles.
• Notes: The balance is perfect. The colors are perfect. About 20-minutes later the fog enveloped the entire bridge.
• Best Season: Autumn
