• Title: Icicle Creek Early Fall

• Description: Icicle Creek is a hiking and rock climbing meca in the North Cascades of Washington State. This photo was taken approximately 10 miles south west of Leavenworth, Washington. This was late September just as diciduous trees start to show their fall colors. The smallest creek side boulder is over four feet tall.
• Brief Directions: Off of Icicle creek Road, left side of the road as you leave Leavenworth, Wa. heading West. If you are coming in from Stevens Pass going west to east you will see it on the right just as you come into Leavenworth, Wa.
• Notes: I had to work hard to get the mountain in the background to show. Curves in Photoshop and some black and white overlay transparency work helped out on many areas of the photo as well.
• Best Season: Autumn
• Gear: Nikon D80 35/200 zoom
