I know it looks like a maniputation, but I assure you that it`s not! We had a lot of fun making this photo and only one chance of getting it right! I have to admit that we were very lucky with this shot:) The instrument we bourght for 100$ including case and bow, so we decided it was worth the sacrifice:)Eric Gould makes this comment

I am curious about your point of focus. I would think the water DOF would vary over the water. It appears constant and rather sharp.Nikolaj Lund makes this comment

It was taken @ 16mm f/5,6 so I just preset the manual focus to infinit. That makes it sharp from half a meter away all the way to the far distance:)Eric Gould makes this comment

You most have some magical lens at f/5,6 the DOF would fall off with any Nikon or Canon lens.Eric Gould makes this comment

These shots of yours have the correct DOF and there are great images. http://tokemoldrup.zebrasite.dk/images/tokemoldrup/tm_7.jpg and http://tokemoldrup.zebrasite.dk/images/tokemoldrup/tm_2.jpg. The above images lead be to think, based on camera angle and DOF, that your entry was a combination of shots. One of the musician jumping off the pier and a second shoot of the ocean. Regardless its a great image!Nikolaj Lund makes this comment
