Description: Driving Oahu's east side for work one day, I noticed the tell tale yellow caution tape marking out the distance to stay back from the endangered Hawaiian monk seal napping there. I stopped to take a few pictures of her, and Irma's nap was rudely awakened with the slap of a wave on her back.
Brief Directions: Irma is known to frequent the beach she's named for: Irma's, just past Sandy Beach on Oahu's east side.
Best Season: Autumn
Gear: Nikon D200 with a Nikkor 18-200mm lens
