Description: As I was leaving Mount Rainier National Park I noticed that there was a spot marked "Viewpoint" and decided to investigate. All day the mountain had been hidden from view by a thick fog. But, as I entered this "Viewpoint" area, I noticed on my rearview mirror the fog clearing and showing a little bit of the tip of the mountain. This view lasted less than 5 minutes at which time, the sun was gone and the precious light with it.
