Photo Details
- Title: Solo Flight
- State/Province/Region (required): New York
- Country (required): United States
- Nearest Town: New York City
- Description: A single airliner cuts the sky above the flagpole near 6th avenue and 59th Street ( Central Park South here )
- Brief Directions: Come to 5th Avenue or Avenue of the Americas ( 6th Avenue as we call it ) and be patient with the birds roosting on all the overhead wires of the street lights.
- Notes: It is very unusual to have no clouds and no cross traffic, and the birds cooperated by sitting away from the job and in fact allowing the sky to be perfectly clear except for the tree leaves and solid view of the only plane in the sky at the time ( midday.)
- Best Season: Winter
- Gear: Olympus Pen EM1 with 9-18mm ultrawide lens
