I waited most of the day until the sky turned a shadowy blue to take this picture of a beautiful Alaskan Native ice bird sculpture. I patiently waited for the lights to bring out the rounded outline, while still having enough light to see through it. I was humbly pleased with the results of capturing the outcome of the process for how rain turns into snow, which was compressed into ice, and then wonderfully shaped into a sculpture later framed against a colorful sky.
