Description: Many of the old buildings in this 1860's mining town are in a sad state of disrepair. It was incumbent on me to document as many of the structures as I could before the buildings were in complete collapse. This chair was in a window that provided late afternoon light. The accents for the scene were as I found them. The scene was shot in color and converted to B&W with Nik Silver Efex Pro.
Brief Directions: Go west from Wickenburg, AZ on Hwy. 60 to the old Vulture Mine Road. Turn left and go to the sign for the Vulture Mine, turn right.
Notes: The Vulture mine is on private property and the owners charge to tour the grounds. Unfortunately many of the structures have fallen down and are not particularly photogenic. The headframe is gone and many of the artifacts are not in accessable areas.
