Photo Details
- Title: Former President Meets Precocious Kid
- State/Province/Region (required): North Carolina
- Country (required): United States
- Nearest Town: Huntersville
- Description: Former President Clinton Stopped in Huntersville in 2008 to Campaign for his wife Hilary during the NC primaries and stopped by Bradley Middle School for an appearance. He'd climbed in his motorcade when this kid ran up and started crying that he wasn't going to get to meet him. Clinton called off the secret service, walked over and knelt down to shake his hand and give him a high-five. His proud mother looking on and snapping away the whole time!
- Brief Directions: This school is along Beatties Ford Road in Huntersville, NC, just north of Charlotte. This great road is a historic corridor in northern Mecklenburg County.
- Notes: The entire sequence, from Clinton calling off the Secret Service, getting out of his Suburban, walking over to calm the kid and giving him a high 5 is one of my best captures.
- Best Season: Autumn
- Gear: Olympus E-500
