Photo Details
- Title: Sunrise On Florida’s East Coast
- State/Province/Region (required): Florida
- Country (required): United States
- Nearest Town: Hammock Beach
- Description: While vacationing in Hammock Beach, FL, I had seen these rocks on the beach on an afternoon walk and thought it would make an interesting foreground for a sunrise shot. I got up before sunrise the next morning, packed up my gear, and made the ¾ of a mile trek down the beach. Knowing that the sun would wash out the foreground, I planned a bracketed exposure shot with the intent to combine into an HDR image. I took quite a few bracketed groups as the sun rose and captured this particular scene when clouds from the west started to pass overhead to the east (ISO 200, 21mm, f/25, 1/30s, 1/15s, 1/8s, HDR processed in Photomatix Pro).
- Notes: ISO 200, 21mm, f/25, 1/30s, 1/15s, 1/8s. HDR processed in Photomatix Pro. Minor editing in Capture NX2.
- Best Season: Winter
- Gear: Nikon D90, Nikkor AF-S 18-105mm 3.5-5.6G ED, Manfrotto 190CXPRO3 Tripod
