Description: This picture was taken at St.Paul's Basilica in Rome, Italy. The leading line of the hallway and repeating pattern of the columns make this a very interesting and unique architecture image. I felt the image needed some more impact therefore I added a "burst of color" into the columns only. I used a bright and colorful "zooming" floral picture and with photoshop I blended and kept the colors only in the columns. The zooming effect gives the appearance that colorful light is bursting out from inside the building.
