Description: I was on the pier taking photos of the lighthouse while dodging the waves trying to stay dry because it was so cold and windy on this autumn day. As I was finishing up and heading to the car I thought why not get hit by a wave for a photo. I set up and waited of course now that I wanted the wave there was no waves... Finally I saw a major set of waves coming up, I planted my feet and held onto my gear and held the shutter down for a massive burst of photos, Just before the wave hit me and all of my gear I jumped back and only my feet got wet. Luckily I moved because this wave may have swept me off of the pier!
