Nearest Town: The Dalles, north central Oregon by the border to Washington.
Description: Draft Horses were used in the past for farming hay and grain and they pulled all of the Old Time Equipment. These 2 Black Clydesdales were pulling the "Header Box" that held the grain and hay. this was taken at The Dufur Threshing Bee in Dufur, Oregon, a little farming community with Mt. Hood in their site at all times.
Brief Directions: Dufur is about 20 or 30 miles or so fromThe Dalles which is on the Columbia Gorge between the Washington state border.
Best Season: Autumn
