Description: moving the bee hives, stirred all of the girls out and about as we prepared the hives for winter.
Brief Directions: in my back yard
Notes: all the bees that we see collecting pollen are actually females. as the males (drones) have bigger bodies ,eyes and smaller wings. They stay in the hive to mate with the queen and tend to her needs, once winter comes, the queen sends out a hormone telling the hive to push all the males out and they freeze to death.
