Description: The US Air Force Memorial is one of the newer memorials in Washington DC. It is testimony to the steadfast vigilance of the US Armed Forces. The "normal" way of viewing this section of the memorial is with the viewer looking at the front of the airman color guard standing in front of the granite wall with combat campaigns engraved. This day, the granite reflecting the statues seemed to perfectly sum up the message the memorial sends to visitors
