• Description: While walking with my husband and our dogs, my husband - being in an exceptionally good mood - drew a smiley face in the snow. I thought it looked so cute that I wanted a photo! As I went to snap the shot, my small dog, Scruffy, tried to walk over it. Not wanting him to ruin it, I lightly scolded him to go around and he promptly sat down. I thought that fit the shot well and was rather excited that Scruffy had ended up doing this random act. I framed and took my shot quickly before he decided to move. Good move, since as soon as I hit that button on my camera, Scruffy licked his cute little nose. I thought it made the shot that much better!
• Brief Directions: From Bandon take Hwy 42S and you hit Coquille. For this exact spot, turn left off of Hwy 42S onto Hwy 42, heading north. About 7 miles out of town, you'll see a road to your left named North Bank Road. Turn there, then make your immediate left turn that you see. Now you've hit your destination! Take a walk down the tracks and have one great adventure!
