Description: This is a composition that contains two aircraft owned by a local pilot. One is a well restored Steerman from World War II and the other is a Pitts acrobatic aircraft.
Brief Directions: This photograph was taken at Coulter Airfield (KCFD), which is located in Bryan, TX.
Notes: The aircraft are unique in that both are tail draggers (the type of landing gear) and both have rotary engines. Modern light aircraft are largely piston aircraft with tricycle style landing gears.
