Description: A long two days, from far northern california, to monterey, to LA, then back to Monterey, left me off the beaten path, Three hours of driving through the Los Padres National forest, left me wondering when I'd find the ocean let alone my hotel room! At the top of the sierra nevada, I found this view of the forrest and ocean far below, the wind was blowing very strong as is the coustom at that elevation on the ocean, but the final result was very pleasing.

Gear: Canon 5D Mark ii, Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8, 24mm, 1/320, f/8, ISO 50, Kokin graduated nuetral density filter
