Photo Details

  • Title: George W
  • State/Province/Region (required): Massachusetts
  • Country (required): United States
  • Nearest Town: Boston
  • Description: 1/3200 @ f2.5, ISO 200 Stayed in downtown Boston for a trade show, and went walking around shooting in the mornings. Beautiful weather and beautiful sights. I got several good shots of the George Washington statue on Boston Commons, and thought it worked particularly well in B&W.
  • Brief Directions: Boston Commons, downtown Boston, MA.
  • Notes: I am a newly obsessed amateur photographer who studied the art many years ago in college, but have only recently picked it back up. This was one of the first shots I have added post processing to, as I recently got Lightroom. I also used Silver Efex Pro 2 for the B&W conversion, and I am very happy with the final result
  • Best Season: Summer
  • Gear: Nikon D5000, Nikon AF-S 35mm f1.8, Bogen tripod
