This photo is what I refer to as my first true photograph as a photographer. This is a genuine product of a vision and the determination to make that vision a reality. I passed by these hills one afternoon and was just stunned by the way the way the light was playing with the terrain. Not having a camera with me, I sadly drove on. In the days that followed, I could not get the image out of my head. Eventually I got another opportunity, so I grabbed my humble camera and a broken tripod and set out to get the shot. After an hour and 45 minutes of waiting for the light to be just right I got my shot!
