Description: One thing I learned from photographing this scene is that "it ain't over until the fat lady sings" :-) When we arrived to Badlands National Park in South Dakota for sunset, we were greeted instead with drizzle and heavy, drab sky. Friends were wet and hungry and wanted to leave for dinner... I am glad I remembered the above saying and stayed until the sun broke through the clouds just minutes before disappearing behind the horizon.
