On Oahu's southeast shoreline there is a point called Mokapu'u. On the ridge overlooking the point there are old pillboxes from world war 2 lookouts. Below is the Mokapu'u lighthouse. It is the eastern-most point on Oahu and on clear days Molokai and Maui can be seen from here. During the winter months humpback whales can be seen breeching from this point as well. My wife and I had just completed the scramble to the top of the ridge and she was taking a rest when I captured this shot.
