- Description: A beautiful male cheetah turns an heads straight toward me, eyeing me within the safari van I'm standing in one late morning in Kenya's world renown Masai Mara (appropriately, mara is the Masai word for beauty). This may have been the most beautiful animal I have ever seen.
- Brief Directions: Masai Mara is located on the Tanzanian border in Kenya, merging directly with Tanzania's Serengeti National Park. From Nairobi, the Mara can be reached via air for $200 round trip, or by road. Driving takes around 4 hours from Nairobi heading Southwest and through the rift valley.
- Best Season: Autumn
- Gear: Canon EOS 20D, Tokina 80-400mm
