Description: We were driving north from Winslow, Arizona (what a fine sight to see!) en route to a vacation at Monument Valley. We noticed a small rest area off the main road and were presented with this amazing vista overlooking the Painted Desert. The thunderhead in the distance became out weather for the rest of the day and night. This unexpected photo became our favorite image from our trip.
Brief Directions: North from Interstate 40 from Winslow, AZ.
