- Description: This humpback whale is named Fulcrum. She has a unique look, which unfortunately cannot be seen in this picture, due to being hit by a ship's propeller. Her dorsal fin has been completely shredded. She is absolutely beautiful, and a testament to the damage humans can do to these incredible creatures. She was just as interested in us as we were in her, and came up to get a good look, in an action known as "spy hopping".
