Description: This photo was taken on Miyajima Island at the Ryokan Temple in Japan. A traditional Japanese wedding was being held at the Temple. This picture was taken as the bride was just leaving her father (visible in the background) and walking outside to join her new husband and a new life. The moment between the father and daughter was very special. It was a time of transformation from a girl with her father to a woman with her new husband.
