- Description: Postpartum Anxiety & Depression is a debilitating disorder that is often difficult for others to understand. It is isolating, makes functioning incredibly difficult, turns even the littlest tasks into impossibilities, and unfortunately often goes undetected for long periods of time. A mother can slip into it without realizing she is, even while watching for signs of it in herself. It is my hope that putting a face to this disorder will ease the stigma and lead to greater understanding and compassion.
