- Description: I have photographed many sitting or standing herron. This itme, I set the camera to shutter priority at about 1/1000th of a second. I arose from behind a rock and startled this great blue herron into flight. he flew into the sun as I captured him in flight. He was quite upset and was squaking as he flew.
- Brief Directions: same as above. Vancouver Island, BC. near Ladysmith and Nanaimo
- Notes: touched up in Photoshop and with OnOne software.
