Description: Hiking down from the rim of the Grand Canyon along the South Kaibab Trail this cool and inviting overhang was a perfect rest stop. The natural afternoon light playing off the sandstone rock was just breathtaking yet soothing and relaxing. One of those magical moments in life where you are transfixed by your surroundings and the peace and beauty soaking your senses.
Brief Directions: Hiking down from the rim of the Grand Canyon along the South Kaibab Trail for about 1,250 ft down. The trail passes directly alongside the natural overhang.
Notes: Photograph is untouched - JPG directly from the camera. I do have the RAW file - but really this just highlights how good the Sony A65V can be.
