Here is a bad looking dude. Of course I don't know if he really was a bad dude, but he looks like it here. He is from the village Chalghwor, the unfriendly one also home to the colorful girl previously noted. In all probability he was simply very upset that we were making him be seen in public talking to ISAF forces, as this would make him more likely to be targeted by the insurgents as an ANSF/ISAF enabler. His face really does bear the weight and fatigue of a people who have been in constant conflict for as long as any living Afghan can remember. He looks tired, probably irritated, yet not so irritated, because this is such a common occurrence. He also looks indifferent as to the point of all the trouble he has to go through. If you have eaten dinner every night at 5pm during an era of constant conflict, and suddenly some soldiers stop you on the way home for dinner, you'd probably be more upset about the dinner than the war too.
