- Description: This view, from Holeman Spring Canyon Overlook looks westward over the Holeman Spring Basin to the distant canyon of the Green River. In the right near distance can be seen the small butte named "Birthsay Cake." This view symbolizes for me the vastness and beauty of our western lands.
- Brief Directions: Take US 191 north from Moab UT to its junction with SR 313. Follow SR 313 to the park entrance. In the park follow the park road to the road leading to Whale Rock and the Upheaval Dome. While on this road you will pass Holeman Spring Canyon Overlook.
- Best Season: Autumn
