• Description: Middle Creek is a lake area where birds migrating north stop to regather their energy. On a given day, one may see 10,000 tundra swans or 40,000 snow geese. The Canada geese also migrate through and this particular group took off with me facing into the sun. When I saw the golden edges on the wings, I knew I had a special moment.
