Brief Directions: From the state beach camp ground main gate head north to last stair case heading down to beach. Be careful at high tide, the water level can come all the way up to the last stair. This side of the beach is narrow so also take caution while on the beach at high tide. If you can, find a place to sit down, relax and watch the sunset.
Notes: Carlsbad State Beach is a great family beach with life guards on duty most weekends during the summer. The weather is perfect and the water is warm.
